I loved this hotel. It has a great location and is walking distance to the heart of the city, theater district and elevator. Its modern elegance, wonderful amenities and fantastic restaurant were all icing on the cake to its fantastic location. The beautiful interior space is designed with a modern take on Feng Shui. Each room has different elements of the earth. The rooms were spacious with an open bathroom and shower to make the space seem more inviting. Super comfortable beds kept me sleeping soundly. They even provide a whole assortment of snacks, drinks and a great espresso maker for those late nights or early mornings.
They have a great spa as well, with all the spa services such as massages, facials etc. it also has a sauna, steam room, hot tub and fitness center.
If you don't want to walk around town the hotel will even rent you a bike for a spin around town.
The Inspira is a Green Globe certified property which means they have taken extra steps in not only reducing their footprint but also in helping local communities, supporting charities and protecting natural resources. They have a green meetings program, water saving fixtures in all the rooms, LED lights and in room occupancy sensors that save loads of electricity. They are even carbon neutral thanks to their purchasing of carbon offsets.
There are plenty of ways to relax and unwind at the Inspira, it’s the details at this hotel that really got me though. They sell local crafts made by autistic children at the front desk, and every bottle of water that is sold in the hotel goes to an organization that builds water pumps in Africa. But that’s not all.
Their restaurant Open Brasserie Mediterrånica will indulge the senses of any foodie. The Mediterranean inspired menu changes seasonally, the chef picks and creates dishes based on what is fresh at the farm. It is also the only gluten free certified restaurant in Lisbon. They also have great vegan, vegetarian and lactose free options. With menus made from 100% renewable cork, origami lanterns made from recycled paper and a fantastic selection of hip cocktails with fresh local ingredients I was in heaven.
