About Alice Ford

Award Winning Filmmaker, Stunt Woman & TV HOST

My Story

Hey everyone, I’m Alice Ford. An award winning adventure filmmaker, travel host, stunt woman and sustainability expert. I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire and have always had a love for nature, animals and adventure. From a very young age I had the joy of experiencing some of the worlds most special and beautiful places, starting with the white mountains and thick forests that were right out my front door. My father was a hippie at heart and spent his years prior to having a family as a ski-patrolman in Colorado, a river guide in the Grand Canyon and a backpacker all over the world. It was no surprise that he shared that love with my sister and I as soon as we were in the world. We spent vacations driving cross country through Yellowstone, traversing mountains, skiing in Salt Lake City, and climbing the stairs of Chichen Itza.  It is this upbringing that drives my passion everyday to encourage others to live at peace with nature, protect our planet and explore everything!

Hiking mountains from a very young age and spending every summer day swimming in Squam Lake led me into sports. At an early age I began competing in gymnastics, track and field and skiing which helped me get into college. After graduation I went on to get my Masters degree in Environmental Management while working for Glaceau Vitaminwater in Tucson Arizona. Since then I have had many careers: gymnastics coach, bar owner, VIP host at Atlantis and Stuntwoman, but my one dream was always to have my own travel show and bring the wild right into your living room.

In 2013 I started this blog and with it my Youtube channel, today there are over 200 long form videos from my travels all over the world. In 2024 my show “Alice’s Adventures on Earth” made its TV debut on PBS Stations, giving me an invitation into your living rooms.

I have been working as a stuntwoman since 2011 and have had the opportunity to work on some huge blockbusters like Transformers, Star Trek, Tenet, Bumblebee and many more. (Check out my IMDB for all of them).

This site is dedicated to inspiring you to travel deeper, find meaning in your life and relish true experiences with nature. I want to show you that protecting our planet is easier than you think and that sometimes the best vacation is just getting outside.
