05Meet Alice
Filmmaker. Host. Explorer. Stuntwoman. Conservationist.
Alice Ford grew up in the woods of New Hampshire, with a father who had been a ski-patroller, a Grand Canyon river guide and a backpacker before she was born. The White Mountains were her first classroom.
She went on to a master’s in Environmental Management, a career in stunts on some of Hollywood’s biggest films, and in 2013 started this site and a YouTube channel that now holds more than 200 long-form films. In 2024 her show debuted on PBS.
